(a) Formation and promotion of FPOs

We facilitate the creation of and promote Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to increase farmers’ incomes by consolidating their strengths and skills. We provide handholding support to FPOs right from the inception, through formalization, planning, budgeting and linkage with resources. Presently, we are promoting MARAAZ Farmer Producer Company Limited in Dooniwari area of Budgam district. MARAAZ focuses on production and marketing of general and exotic vegetables, dairy products and Plums

(b) Agritech App

SESTI has developed a sophisticated but user friendly App for Farmers, vendors and other traders in the supply chain of Agriculture production and marketing. The App connects the producer directly with the vendors thereby removing the intermediaries, which increases earning outcome for the producers besides bringing efficiency and reducing the transaction time significantly. Besides providing marketing ease, the APP has features through which the users have access to knowledge in local language through written content, audios and videos regarding farming and allied things.
